Welcome to 2008!

Hi! This is Tanya...Welcome

Moving on into 2008 we are planning to add a new puppy to our family, something smaller this time, but just as lovable and enjoyable as 'Jackie' was.

We will be adding a Pet Forum to our site, where you can send us your thoughts, ideas, tips and photos for all our other pet owners to read and enjoy. My 15 year old daughter will be doing regular updates about her two pet rats, Bella and Chino (see photo below). She would love to hear from other readers with pet rats or mice. So send us your stories or pictures through our forum page. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Also we are planning on running a monthly pet competition starting in July with a different theme each month, where you get to send in a picture of your favourite pet(s) along with a story and the one voted as the funniest, most unusual or inspiring story (depending on the theme) will win their owner a $25 discount voucher for their next order.

We are constantly on the lookout for more exciting Australian made pet products for you and your pets to enjoy.

And last but not least, starting this year 10% of all our sales will go to worthwhile pet charities. We here at Paws n Claws wish everyone a happy and safe 2008.

Over the years the owners of PAWS n' CLAWS have owned a number of different pets. These have included dogs, cats, rats, mice, guinea pigs, fish, birds and even a horse or two. In fact our most unusual pet was a snake. So as you can see we definitely qualify as pet owners just like you. In fact because of the number of varieties of pets we have had we definitely understand how enjoyable and rewarding it is to own a pet! How much a part of the family they become. Sadly we lost our family pet Jackie, early 2007, aged 15. Her heart just gave out. I used to think that she would live forever, she was so full of life. She will always live on in our hearts.
